Since 2003, I've been based at WNET as the Project Coordinator of "Preserving Digital Public Television" a project funded by the Library of Congress to fund design of a model preservation repository for digital public television programs. Project partners include WNET, WGBH, PBS and New York University. The project has been using PBCore as a primary descriptive metadata scheme, and has been active in promoting its use within public rado and television, and among other media archives both inside the US and abroad.
